Making Your Emotions Work for You: Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace

Working with other people is inherently emotional, but what if you could capitalize on emotions at work and make those emotions work for you? Emotional intelligence is key to effectively working with others and being successful in the workplace. By working on your emotional intelligence, you can have better relationships, reduce your stress levels, and handle conflict more effectively. This talk will take an interactive approach to highlighting the importance of emotional intelligence and the steps you can take to level up on this skill.

Kayla Bigerton earned her Master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology. While pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology, she has realized her passion for all things leadership.

Kayla Bigerton has taken that passion for leadership development to her position as an Associate Organizational Development Business Partner.
