National scholarships funded by the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund (SBMEF) are awarded each year in the amounts of $2,000 to $10,000. All national scholarships have their requirements designated by the SBMEF Board of Trustees and are open to women meeting the requirements of each national scholarship listed below. A minimum of three qualified applicants must complete the application process for each scholarship to be awarded.   • GPA: 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Institution: Portland Community College, Portland Oregon
  • Grade Level: 1st or 2nd Year

All scholarships are non-renewable, and the scholarship check is payable to the educational institution and the scholarship recipient. Funds are to be used for tuition, books, and fees only. Any unused funds shall be returned to SBMEF. ABWA members and non-members may apply.
